Galaxy is excited to showcase our product offerings in the advanced access control solution space at the New Jersey Electronic Security Association (ESA) from March 6-8. We will be demonstrating our cloud and traditional on-premise access control solution. Visitors will see a user-friendly browser-based interface (LaunchPoint), mobile apps (PersonPoint/DoorPoint) and Galaxy’s own access control hardware
“We want companies to see how far along the access control industry has come. The user experience should be simple with little to no training and management of the system can be from a mobile phone, tablet or PC ,” said Lukas Le, Cloud Director, Galaxy Control Systems. “It’s our opportunity to showcase why companies choose and stay with Galaxy for so many years.”
As an open-source technology, System Galaxy has the capability to integrate with video, time and attendance, identity management and a wide variety of other data sources and can further provide and share information to strengthen the overall physical security system.
Technology partners integrated with Galaxy Control Systems at Intersec 2017 include:
• HID
• Assa Abloy
• Magicard
• Allegion
• Digital Watchdog
• Bosch
• OpenEye
• Video Insight
• Salto
• Milestone
• OnSSI
• OTIS
• Idemia
• Hanwha
• Farpointe Data
Recently introduced System Galaxy features, such as Advanced Port Filtering, will be highlighted. There is a tremendous surge to the amount of traffic that is seen by the network caused by the rapid growth of connected devices. The new Advanced Port Filtering feature combats this problem, ensuring that system alerts will be actively monitored by the security network.
“Whether it’s access control, a custom engineered solution or one of our innovative technologies, Galaxy Control System offerings are designed to put the customer first,” adds Lukas Le.
