VALIDATING THE NEW SERVER INSTALLATION

This topic covers validating that the System Galaxy and idProducer software are successfully installed on the new server.

IMPORTANT: Do not register the software at this time. Registration will be done in a later step.

 

1. Open/launch System Galaxy software from the desktop icon on the new server.

   1. Create a login and password.

   2. Sign-in to System Galaxy with the new login you just created.
      

   3. Click OK to bypass the system registration message.
      Do not attempt to register the system!

       

      RESULT: The main System Galaxy window will open and you should see a “Default” Loop/Cluster in the Hardware Tree. Since the databases have not been moved yet, none of your system programming will be visible at this point.

       

   4. Open the Cardholder screen from the menu path: Configure > Cards > Cardholders.

   5. Close System Galaxy software.

    

2. Open/launch the idProducer Web Client from the desktop icon on the new server.

   1. The idProducer Web Client will launch in your default browser, you might see a red warning message stating that the product license is needed. 

   2. Do not attempt to license idProducer product. This will be taken care of in a later step.

   3. Close the web browser window.
