The Reader Activity History Report is configurable. User can choose a custom Date Range, as well as selectively choose which readers to include and which events to see. The unchecked readers or events will not appear on the report. Likewise events that are outside the date-range will also be omitted.

 

PREREQUISITES AND NOTES

  • The user login account must have the correct permissions needed to view and print the report.

  • User must have account permissions to the VMS system if Viewing Video is needed.

  • The selected reader(s) must have activity and must have the type of events selected.

 

Under the Configure section of the Dashboard, you will click the Reports tile.

The fields in the page are dynamic depending on what is selected in the Search field.

 

  1. In the Start Date field, click the Calendar Function  button to choose a date and time.

  2. In the End Date field, click the Calendar Function  button to choose a date and time.

  3. In the Search Field droplist, click the desired criteria (i.e. Department, Customer, First or Last Name, ...)

  4. You can narrow your search criteria by adding a selection in the Search For droplist, depending on what you selected in the Search Field.

  5. Click the Search Now button to open up more data fields.

  6. In the Select Person droplist, click the desired person (or "everybody") that you want to see events for ().

  7. In the Select Readers droplist, click the desired reader you want to see events for (all readers or an individual reader).

  8. In the Event Types droplist, select any events you want to see by checking the checkboxes. You can check any or all boxes as needed (i.e. select_all, or select individual event types).

  9. Click View Report  button to pull the Event Report.

  10. The Event Report screen will display in a grid list at the bottom of the same screen.

  11. You can export the report to Excel  or PDF  as needed.

     

 


 

 

In the Reader Activity History, the user can click the View Video link to see video from the camera that is linked to the reader.

  1. Follow the steps (above) to pull the Activity History.

  2. Click on the View Video link in the Show Video column for the desired event.

  3. User must provide the valid login credentials: name/email and password.


    Note: Login Page may vary slightly based on brand or setup.

  4. The video from the associated camera will play.
